Following her thirst for learning more about her Spanish roots, she connected right away with flamenco music: "It feels as if it had always been part of me, of who I was, like a distant memory that you suddenly remember. I felt like learning flamenco connects me to my ancestors and something very deep within me".

 "There is nothing more real than watching a flamenco artist; it's raw, emotional, present and incredibly bold. I especially love the flamenco rumbas, which are deeply rooted in Cuban rythms. I love spreading joy, happiness and passion and this is why I love playing rumbas!".​​
